In the news!!

Our much awaited Literature section is up! Somewhat! What I'm asking for is preliminary submissions, content for the grand opening. Theres are four sections, Reviews, Articles, Series, and Poetry. If you have any pieces you want to contribute, please post on the forum or e-mail me your work, including any specifications for formatting or visuals you want associated with it. Also, any additional copyright information. I figure, I'll give everyone a week to submit their work, and I will publish it and open the section.

In the future, I'm hoping to give frequent submitters their own login/auto submission system tied in with the forum. I'm sorta waiting on our programmer Jon to finish up some of the login/registration stuff, but I'll try to get as much working as possible when the rest of the sections are up.

So in any case....

I'm willing to guess that most of you have read Nate's resignation on the forums. What does this mean for the site? Well, for the most part, the comics that Nate is responsible for will no longer be running: this includes ASOUE, and his episodes of Kung Fo Kitty. That being said, I'm now responsible for putting up the rest of the site, which Nate was working on. The integration portion of the site will be put on hold while the other sections, primarily Literature and Audio sections. We hope to bring you new content soon from a variety of creative minds!

That being said, Nate Pyrokai was an integral part of the site for many years, and much more to me than just a co-worker. His work on this site was fueled by a rare and unique passion. I am convinced that we can do his vision no greater justice than to continue to strive to create a community of creative individuals and give them a friendly place to talk and share their ideas. I plan to continue Servocity as a company, a community, and a part of Nate's legacy. I hope you will join me in rebuilding something we all can enjoy.

Hey Everyone!

Had dreams... Two of 'em. Both had my father in 'em. It's peculiar. I'm older now then he ever was by twenty years. So, in a sense, he's the younger man. Anyway, the first one I don't remember too well but, it was about meetin' him in town somewheres and he give me some money. I think I lost it. The second one, it was like we was both back in older times and I was on horseback goin' through the mountains of a night. Goin' through this pass in the mountains. It was cold and there was snow on the ground and he rode past me and kept on goin'. Never said nothin' goin' by - just rode on past. And he had his blanket wrapped around him and his head down. When he rode past, I seen he was carryin' fire in a horn the way people used to do, and I-I could see the horn from the light inside of it - about the color of the moon. And in the dream I knew that he was goin' on ahead and he was fixin' to make a fire somewhere out there in all that dark and all that cold. And I knew that whenever I got there, he'd be there. And then I woke up.
